Nurse Practitioner
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Functions in an expanded nursing role in collaboration with qualified physicians within the framework of jointly approved protocols for family medicine.
  • Provides primary care to patients under the medical supervision of the supervising physician using clinical protocols as general guidelines. The supervising physician is always available for consultation and collaboration with the Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Provides support for nursing care through advanced practice, education, research, consultation and administration.
  • Promotes a healthy and harmonious environment with supervising physician, practice manager, staff and patient/visitors.
  • All other duties as assigned
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current RN & NP licensure
  • Nurse Practitioner – Certification (or eligibility to sit for certification exam). Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • A minimum of one year related clinical experience
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice..Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family problems.
  • Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with health team members.
  • Strong customer relations skills required.

Physician Assistant

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A minimum of one year related clinical experience
