About the Role:
Southern Interventional Pain Center in Thomasville, GA is looking for a talented and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients managing chronic and acute pain in a supportive, specialty-focused environment.



Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions
• Perform and assist with interventional pain management procedures under physician supervision
• Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, treatment options, and follow-up care

Requirements:

• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain)
• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or a related specialty preferred
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one required
• Strong knowledge of interventional pain procedures and chronic pain management protocols
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
