The Position

AnovaWorks is looking for a Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA in Selah, WA. This is a wonderful opportunity to work independently and focus on providing excellent care for your patients in Employee Health services.

A qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will perform the following functions:

· Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses

· Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

· Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients

· Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures

· Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

· Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantshould have the following qualifications:

· 1+ year performing occupational health exams (Preferred)

· Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER (preferred)

· Ability to build rapport with patients

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Team oriented

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantshould have the following education/license/certification

· WA Advanced Practitioner License (Required)

· AANC/ NCCPA (Required)

· DEA License (Required)

· Master’s Degree (Required)

· DOT Medical Examiner Certified (Preferred, but not required)

Training will be provided upon hire to obtain DOT Certification.
