    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinic team. The NP/PA will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide comprehensive, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role involves health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses for a diverse patient population.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide primary and/or specialized health care services to patients based on scope of practice.

    Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, take detailed patient histories, and develop differential diagnoses.

    Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

    Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.

    Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenance.

    Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

    Adhere to clinic protocols, regulatory standards, and quality assurance measures.

    Participate in performance improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing education.

    Qualifications:

    Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Texas. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or other applicable certification. Or an unrestricted PA license to practice within Texas

    Current DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).

    Prior experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred.

    Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR/EMR).

    Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Work Environment:

    Outpatient clinic environment.

    Extended hours or weekend shifts may be required according to job requirements

    Exposure to communicable diseases and medical instruments common in a clinical setting.
