About Spine Institute of the Carolinas:

Job Overview
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and hard-working to join our successful practice! As part of a healthcare team, you will focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with specialists to diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses of the spine
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Assist with surgery and hospital rounds (No after hour calls)
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a surgical practice or spine care practice (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Work well under pressure and understand the unique stress of a busy surgical practice
