We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing, patient-centered dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced dermatology provider who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.
This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to care for an established patient population while working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team.
Primary Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of medical dermatologic conditions.
Perform comprehensive skin cancer screenings and full-body skin examinations.
Diagnose and manage conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, skin infections, and other dermatologic disorders.
Perform in-office procedures including shave, punch, and excisional biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), and other minor surgical procedures.
Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive skin care.
Review pathology results and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Qualifications
Current New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
National board certification.
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
Minimum of two years of dermatology experience required.
Demonstrated experience managing medical dermatology patients and performing common dermatologic procedures.
Cosmetic dermatology experience, including injectables and laser procedures, is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to efficiently manage a busy clinic schedule while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
