About the Role
As a Urology Advanced Practice Provider, you'll partner with board-certified urologists to provide comprehensive care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You'll evaluate patients, assist with procedures, perform hospital rounds, manage common urologic conditions, and help coordinate care throughout the patient journey.
This position is ideal for providers who enjoy variety, procedural medicine, and working closely with physicians in a specialty practice.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in clinic and hospital settings
- Perform in-office urologic procedures with physician mentorship and training
- Administer intravesical therapies and assist with bladder treatment protocols
- Perform catheter placement, exchanges, troubleshooting, and ongoing catheter management
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures as needed
- Conduct inpatient rounds and coordinate care during assigned call rotations
- Respond to patient phone calls during scheduled call coverage
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and referring providers to deliver exceptional patient care

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start

Call Responsibilities
- Light weekday phone call coverage
- Shared 1:8 call rotation
- Rare weekend hospital rounds (typically 1–2 hours when scheduled)
