Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

Hilltop Primary Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Pike County, Kentucky. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and make a lasting impact on the health of the community.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice
- Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, treatment options, and long-term health management
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Kentucky APRN license
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
- Primary care, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- A genuine commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care
