Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited school/college of nursing OR master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
Minimum of two (3) years of NP experience.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of the team, you will:
Monitor patients and order tests and procedures in the outpatient setting.
Manage a wide range of health problems through your clinical expertise.
Ensure positive health outcomes for your assigned patient population.
Perform thorough health assessments and physical examinations.
Provide direct clinical care, including prescription and ordering of medications and therapies.
Evaluate patients' need for further healthcare and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Document care and education provided in medical records.
Integrate research-based knowledge into your decision-making.
Advocate for patients, their families, coworkers, and the community.
Maintain your licensure and certifications through ongoing continuing education.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Participate actively in quality improvement and research initiatives.
Implement comprehensive teaching strategies for patients and their families.
Develop and contribute to continuing education programs for staff.
