Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
Board Certified
Open to new graduates
Proficient in performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment, and utilizing electronic health records
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical exams and patient observations
Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones
Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests
Monitor and operate medical equipment
Diagnose health issues
Administer medicine and other treatments
Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans as needed
Consult with healthcare professionals and families
Educate patients and their families on managing and preventing illness and injury
