Job Description:
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Nurse Practitioner - Perioperative/Patient Care Coordinator - atNaval Medical Center San Diego in California.
Position Highlights:
Outstanding work/life balance: Services Shall be provided Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0630 – 1500 hours
8-hour Shifts with 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements:
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
Minimum of 5 years of advanced practice provider experience, including at least 3 years in a surgical or procedural subspecialty (e.g., maxillofacial surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, trauma, head and neck oncology preferred)
Demonstrated experience managing complex perioperative patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Experience coordinating care for multidisciplinary and high-acuity patient populations
Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and prescribing medications per institutional policy Leadership & Operational Skills
Experience in care coordination, case management, or clinical program support
Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience overseeing or mentoring clinical support staff and contributing to efficient clinic operations.
Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Licensure: Possess a current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. jurisdiction.
