Job Overview: AIMS is hiring for experienced Full TimeNurse Practitioners (NPs) to provide comprehensive, outcome-based healthcare services at Naval health Clinic, Quantico. This role supports deployment health screenings, chronic condition management, and preventive care, serving the active-duty military population in both clinical and field environments.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Master’s Degree in Nursing
Graduate of a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
Licensure/Registration:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
Experience:
Must meet clinical competency requirements per Service-specific credentialing standards
Board Certification:
Certified in the required specialty by ANCC, AANP, or an approved national nursing certification board (e.g., NCBPNP, NCC)
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Citizenship:
U.S. Citizenship required
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
Conduct patient assessments, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans
Provide education on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease self-management
Perform procedures and prescribe medications in accordance with privileges
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Participate in training, in-service education, and performance improvement programs
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and military healthcare teams
Systems Knowledge (Preferred)
CHCS, AHLTA, MHS GENESIS, Essentris, CIS
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Between 0630 and 1630 hours
8-hour shifts within that window
No weekends or holidays unless specified
Security & Clearance :
Must pass a background check and fingerprinting
Must meet DoD credentialing and security standards
