We are seeking a part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner to play a crucial role in our team. This unique opportunity will allow you to provide holistic, quality care to our patients in a community clinic and residential SUD treatment settings.

Duties include:
  • Helping with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, consultations, and referrals for specialty medical care.
  • Prescribing medication; examining patients, diagnosing illnesses and providing treatment; ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
  • Gathering health histories; performing physical examinations/screenings and diagnostic procedures.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans; dictating and documenting all patient interactions.
  • Notify the managing physician/Medical Director about unusual or unexpected events or problems.
  • Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, and patients, providing health promotion, prevention, limited diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, and injuries.
  • Prescribing medications when needed to ensure patient health and well-being.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Must hold current Nurse Practitioner license/registration to practice in California.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures.
  • Furnishing License preferred.
  • Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder services is highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time / Part Time.
Pay: $100,000 - $135,000.00 per year.
Shift: Day shift.
Work Location: In person, San Rafael, CA.
