About the Role:
Join Druid Hills Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner in Atlanta, GA, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of our community.  We are open to part time or full time.   Ideally this would be a long term position but also open to short term as well.  We are a busy primary care practice in Atlanta.  Each practitioner sees about 15 primary care patients a day.



Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
  • Administer medications and provide patient education on treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in continuous education to stay current with medical advancements.
  • Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives within the community.
  • Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
