JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: NY State License
Board: Board Certified in Specialty
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS (AHA or RQI)
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience
Other Qualifications: Epic Experience Required; No Residents or Fellows; NY License in Hand
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, working closely with physicians and healthcare teams.
Serve as Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room, performing procedures such as wound cauterization, vessel packing, patient positioning, clamp and suture placement, skin closure, hemostasis, and immobilization.
Manage medical-surgical floor coverage including rounding, progress notes, orders, discharges, and consults.
Work with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients.
Participate in weekday and weekend on-call coverage as scheduled.
