What You'll Do:
As a key member of our Urology team, you will operate independently with minimal supervision, providing comprehensive outpatient clinical services and hospital rounding. Your day will include managing a diverse patient caseload, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver top-tier urological care. This role offers a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities, ensuring a varied and fulfilling workday.
Required Skills:
Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Valid CA DEA certification
Board certification with the NNCCPA
Proven proficiency to operate independently with minimal training
Strong clinical skills in urology, surgical case management, and patient care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience in urology or surgical specialties
Prior hospital-based clinical activity
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Comfort with performing or assisting in surgeries
Preferred Education and Experience:
Masters or higher degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of recent hospital or clinical experience in urology or a related specialty
Experience navigating the privileging process at healthcare facilities
Other Requirements:
Must hold an active CA license and DEA registration
Willingness to work hours of 8 am to 5 pm, with optional hospital rounding from 3 pm to 5 pm based on patient needs
Availability for scheduled start on August 1, 2026
