Required Skills:

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Valid CA DEA registration
  • Board certification with NNCCPA or equivalent
  • Proven ability to operate independently with minimal training
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage urological conditions effectively

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in urology or surgical specialties
  • Familiarity with hospital rounding and hospital-based procedures
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Case log documentation for surgical procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urology
  • At least 2 years of recent hospital clinical experience in urology or related specialty
  • Experience with surgical case management and hospital privileges

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid California medical license and DEA registration
  • Willingness to commit to 8 hours per day, with overtime paid after 8 hours
  • Ability to work hours from 8am to 3pm in clinic and from 3pm to 5pm at the hospital, including hospital rounding
  • Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be provided
  • Ensure compliance with privileging requirements, including documentation of clinical activity and case logs
