Nurse Practitioner
My client located in Corpus Christi, TX is in need of a Nurse Practitioner. This is an onsite direct hire opportunity within a private outpatient vascular and vein practice with an office based lab. This position offers a Monday through Friday environment with no evenings or weekends and no hospital rounding required.

Nurse Practitioner Role
Provide comprehensive patient care in a private outpatient clinic and office based lab setting.
Assess, diagnose, and manage patient conditions while following physician established treatment protocols.
Perform vascular and vein procedures, including peripheral arterial disease angiograms, venograms, GAEs, HAEs, and UFEs.
Perform venous procedures including Radiofrequency Ablation, Varithena, and VenaSeal, with treatment methods determined based on patient imaging.
See approximately 30 to 40 patients per day, including a combination of new patients and follow up appointments.
Make independent clinical decisions within scope of practice following onboarding and training.
Collaborate closely with a vascular surgeon and an interventional radiologist.
Work alongside dedicated sonographers who perform ultrasound imaging. Nurse Practitioners are not required to perform ultrasounds.
Maintain accurate, timely, legible, and confidential medical records.
Work efficiently in a fast paced clinical environment while remaining composed during urgent situations.
Assist patients as needed and meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, carrying, sitting, standing, and bending intermittently.

Nurse Practitioner Background Profile
Active Texas ACNP or FNP license required.
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
Current compliance with CME requirements.
Minimum of two years of vascular experience strongly preferred.
Outpatient vascular procedure experience preferred.
Candidates with related specialty experience, including cardiology, general surgery, and wound care, will be strongly considered.
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
