About the Position

This is a time limited position. (APRN) medical care primarily in a county health department in a collaborative/consultative relationship with a physician who has an unrestricted license in Mississippi. Job duties include accountable for assessment, diagnosis, evaluation and determination of patient treatment plan and processes; performs medical procedures and the delivery of patient care that are allowed within the governance that manages the work of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses; completes discharge planning considering patient environment and skills; accountable for all required documentation in accordance with medical policies, practices, and protocols. Travel to other clinics is required.

Candidate will need to have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and good rapport with patients and the public.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and nationally board certified.
