Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

A growing specialty surgical practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with surgeons and clinical teams. This role includes patient evaluations, treatment planning, diagnostic review, care coordination, and pre-operative and post-operative management. The ideal candidate is clinically experienced, patient-focused, and capable of working independently in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Review diagnostic studies, imaging, and medical records
• Develop and document treatment plans
• Educate patients regarding procedures and recovery
• Coordinate care with physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers
• Address patient questions and clinical concerns
• Assist with clinical documentation and patient management initiatives

Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license required
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Experience in surgery, ENT, neurology, orthopedics, or specialty care preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage patient care responsibilities
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare technology
• Professional, dependable, and patient-centered approach

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000 - $140,000+ (based on experience)
