Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a key member of our team, where you'll have the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to the adult population in a supportive and mission-driven environment. This role is perfect for a healthcare professional dedicated to making a difference in diverse and underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services in a 100% outpatient clinic setting alongside one other provider and support staff.
- Work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with no late nights or weekends.
- Focus solely on primary care for the adult population (no pediatrics or women's health).
- Manage call responsibilities via phone only, with a rotated schedule.
- Aim to treat 22-25 patients per day, with adjustments for no-show rates, resulting in 15-20 patients.
- Operate independently in a lean site environment.
- Be part of a full-scope FQHC offering primary care, dental, behavioral health, and social work services.
Requirements
- Active or applied NY State license, DEA, CSR.
- Training as a Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult).
- Ideally, 5 years of experience as an NP.
