PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: Board Certified NP or PA (NCCPA for PAs; national certification for NPs)
- Licenses: Active Virginia License, Active DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years Hospital Medicine experience
- Other Qualifications: Familiarity with Epic EMR, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide day coverage as part of hospitalist team (7a-7p shift).
- Round on patients and manage inpatient care.
- Perform admissions and collaborate with admitting physicians.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and APPs.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry.
