Description
We are looking for Women's Health Providers to join our well established and accredited team who provide high-quality comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services to women of all ages. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), you will provide outpatient Obstetrics & gynecology services including prenatal /postnatal care. Birth control services, well-woman visits, and gynecologic care in a supportive and quality-oriented manner.
Essential Functions:
Provides direct care for OBGYN patients by obtaining medical history, performing appropriate physical examinations, and creating an assessment and treatment plan. This may include ordering and following up on labs/imaging, performing necessary procedures, and referring for specialty care when needed.
Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
Follows up and monitors patient's progress throughout treatment plan.
Documents the evaluation and plan of care.
Provides patient education on a variety of women's health topics.
Collaborates and consults with other in house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner education program
Valid Arizona N. License
Board certification.
Current DEA number
Valid Women's Health Nurse Practitioner License or Arizona Nurse Practitioner certificate
