Job Title: Part-Time RN Educator & Supervisor (School-Based, Temporary)

Duration:  (20 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $45–$50 per hour

School Nurse Educator Snapshot

• FIRST AND FOREMOST,  YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IS TO PROVIDE SCHOOL STAFF EDUCATIONAL TRAINING ON STUDENTS THAT HAVE A CHRONIC CONDITION. EXAMPLE: DIABETES, ASTHMA, ALLERGIES, SEIZURES.
• Conduct medication administration training for school staff.
• Provide diabetes management training and guidance.
• Oversee medication audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with school teams to ensure safe medication practices.
• Support and provide training and health education needs as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Active Michigan RN License (Required)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
• Pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred (not required)
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention
• Current or willingness to obtain BLS or CPR/First Aid (role dependent)
• Experience in training or educating staff on medical topics.
• Familiarity with school environments or pediatric settings is a plus.
