Nurse Sonographer- Southwest

Responsible for nursing functions, providing patient care, and performing limited medical obstetrical ultrasounds at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center - Southwest ("PPC - SW").

Responsibilities:

• Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate patient flow
• Perform limited medical screening and pregnancy tests
• Perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds in accordance with delegated orders
• Complete initial patient assessments
• Assist with patient/family education and instruct patients as directed
• Maintain patient documentation according to clinic protocol
• Document and report test results
• Assist with follow up of patient's medical conditions and test results
• Collect and run lab tests
• Incorporate principals of safety in all clinical operations
• Demonstrate safe use of equipment related to patient care
• Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact
• Other duties as assigned
