REGISTERED NURSE - Substitute

The successful candidate will:

• Promote 21st Century educational excellence through the vigorous support of the mission and goals of The Woodstock Academy; and
• Facilitate individual, departmental, and school excellence through the support of high-quality personnel, reinforcement of best instructional practices, encouragement of a culture of collaboration, and a focus on student learning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse, current CT license;
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certified;
• Equivalent of at least 1-year full-time employment as an RN within the past five years; School Nurse experience preferred;
• Educational experience to include 12 college credits, 18 CEUS, or 180 workshop hours in health-related areas (i.e. health assessment, growth and development, sociology, adolescent psychology or other health related areas);
• Demonstrated office management skills, organizational skills, and multi-tasking skills essential;
• Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft office; and
• Flexibility to work days, weekends, and evening shifts for South Campus health office coverage.
