    The Nursing Supervisor provides both clinical leadership and direct patient care support within the healthcare center. In this role, you will oversee Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants while partnering closely with providers and clinic leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants to foster high-quality patient care and professional growth
    • Deliver direct nursing care to patients while assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures
    • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding healthcare needs, treatment plans, and health management strategies
    • Collect patient histories, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and coordinate the retrieval of medical records from outside providers
    • Perform laboratory collections, prepare patients for procedures, and complete special clinical procedures as needed
    • Coordinate departmental workflows to ensure efficient operations, timely completion of tasks, and quality patient experiences
    • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop clinical staff while supporting employee engagement and retention efforts
    • Complete employee performance evaluations, supervision records, and individualized training plans
    • Lead staff meetings and facilitate open communication throughout the department and organization
    • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, quality indicators, and organizational standards
    • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement strategies that strengthen departmental performance
    • Collaborate with providers, clinic leadership, and interdisciplinary team members to advance organizational goals and patient care initiatives
    • Support strategic objectives and drive positive change within the department and organization
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Integrated Health Services

    Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    • Current Missouri nursing license in good standing
    • Registered Nurse candidates: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred
    • Licensed Practical Nurse candidates: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred
    • Current BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification preferred

    • Successful completion of required background screenings, including criminal history, abuse/neglect, fingerprint, and driving record checks
    • Must provide evidence of freedom from infectious and contagious diseases, including TB screening, prior to employment and annually thereafter
    • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current automobile insurance required

    Physical Requirements

    • Perform sedentary work with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
    • Sit for extended periods while performing clinical and administrative duties
    • Occasionally walk or stand as necessary to support patient care and clinic operations
    • Perform repetitive movements of the hands, fingers, and arms for typing, documentation, and other job-related activities
    • Maintain the physical ability to safely perform essential nursing and supervisory responsibilities in a clinical setting
