Job Title: Nurse Supervisor
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Type: Contract (Traveler or Local)
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift (5x7 Hours) | 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM | 35 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $90 - $95/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for an exciting Contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care standards.
Develop and implement programs to improve clinical outcomes and staff performance.
Monitor patient care performance and collaborate with Nurse Managers to drive continuous improvement.
Identify performance gaps and assist with corrective action planning and implementation.
Maintain documentation systems related to medication errors and staff counseling.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate workflow and support daily nursing operations across assigned units.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program required.
Active RN License required.
Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYSED required.
BLS Certification required.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Experience in performance monitoring and quality improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of patient care standards and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
