Nurse Unit Manager - Registered Nurse

We are seeking to hire a Nurse Unit Manager - Registered Nurse - RN.

Nurse Unit Manager - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications:

• Current licensure in the State of IA as an RN - Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in Long-Term Care.

Nurse Unit Manager - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications:

• Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan.
• Regular rounding on nursing units to supervise staff, check residents, greet all new admissions.
• Ensure staff follow facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assure that incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly.
• Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties or outside vendors.
• Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
• Assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, as necessary.
