Position Overview
The In-Store Registered Nurse – Vaccination Clinic will provide immunization services to patients in a retail pharmacy setting. The Registered Nurse will administer vaccines, provide patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and support a safe and efficient vaccination clinic environment.
This position is ideal for a reliable and compassionate RN who enjoys patient interaction, health education, and providing preventative care services.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines including:Flu
- COVID-19
- MMR
- Other recommended immunizations
- Review patient information and vaccination history.
- Provide vaccine education and answer patient questions.
- Follow all immunization protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Prepare and maintain a clean, safe vaccination area.
- Monitor patients for potential adverse reactions after vaccination.
- Communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy staff.
- Provide excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Part-Time Seasonal Position
- Expected to work approximately 20 hours/week
- Must have flexibility to work 25–30 hours/week as needed
- Must have availability throughout the week
- Clinic hours are scheduled between 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling based on clinic needs
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- License must be current and unrestricted.
- Current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum 6 months of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous vaccination/immunization experience.
- Immunization certification or training.
- Retail clinic, community health, urgent care, or pharmacy experience.
- Experience administering seasonal vaccines.
