Job Description
Adjunct faculty position teaching in clinical or laboratory courses working with undergraduate students in a BSN nursing program. Clinical lab teaching could include medical-surgical, mental health, public health, maternal health, and pediatric nursing, dependent on current needs of the program.
At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2, or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on the capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department.
What Youll Do
- Teach in clinical settings per specialty area
- Teach in the nursing skills and simulation labs
- Evaluate students in clinical and/or skills, including performance exams
- Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance diversity and inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline
- Attend scheduled teaching team meetings

Experience
- A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in specialty area
- Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset
Education
- Masters degree in Nursing
- Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility
- Clinical practice experience in specialty area
Compensation
We pay $1250 per credit hour for in-person courses.
