Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

 Work Information

•  Department: Medical Unit
• ️ Shift: Days
• Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Two 12-hour shifts per week
•  Status: Part-Time | 24 hours/week
• 喙 Role Focus: Direct patient care, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient environment

Join our Medical Unit team and work alongside nurses and other clinical professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care and support to patients throughout their hospital stay.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

 Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high school specialized training preferred

 Licensure & Certification

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• BLS required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
