Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide hands-on support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. You will be a trusted part of their care team and help create a home-like environment where residents can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct Client Care: Deliver compassionate hands-on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility per each residents Plan of Care. • Support Daily Living: Support daily well-being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement. • Monitor Health Changes: Monitor and report changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and any behavioral or physical changes. • Ensure Timely Communication: Ensure timely communication with the nursing team. • Create a Welcoming Place: Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives by creating a home-like atmosphere. • Other Duties as Assigned: Ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support.
Requirements
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota. • Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is a plus. • Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity. • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. • Ability to pass state mandated background check. • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
