Position Summary
The Nursing Assistant Trainee (NAC Trainee) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well-being of the patient and family.

Employees in this job will only perform work within the scope of the Trainee position as outlined in the education program.

Responsibilities

Assists with room set up for patient admissions
Helps prepare patients for discharge
Performs bed changes, and safety sweeps of patient rooms; empties urinals, commodes, trash and linen receptacles in patient rooms
Picks up and delivers items to lab, supply chain, etc.
Assists with transports, delivery of patient belongings
Assists with answering phone calls
Stocks PPE stations and organizes storage and stock room

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous healthcare experience preferred
BLS Certification obtained within 2 weeks of placement in job

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.12 - $20.12 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
