As a Clinical Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care and advancing your professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Current CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
• Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or mentoring other staff members.
• Participation in Shared Governance groups or professional publications.
• Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a healing environment by providing emotional support and information to patients and families.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess and interpret patient data to determine nursing diagnoses and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Monitor patient safety and compliance with standards and policies, seeking opportunities for continual improvement.
• Contribute to team building and positive morale through participation in unit programs and meetings.
• Utilize technology for communication, documentation, and information retrieval.
