Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current CA license
• Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Experience in providing evidence-based patient care
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
• Experience in cardiology or interventional radiology settings
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Triages patients’ physical symptoms and consults with cardiologists per protocol
• Coordinates patient care for testing services, including bubble studies and definity
• Provides pre and post-op education for cardiology procedures
• Educates patients on cardiovascular conditions and treatment options
• Participates in Transition of Care Management to ensure discharge instructions are understood
• Assists in the development of policies and protocols for patient care
