Job Description:
Lead the Future of Endoscopic Care
Winchester Hospital, a five-time Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized, 183-bed regional healthcare leader, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Endoscopy Services to lead our growing Endoscopy program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic healthcare leader to oversee clinical, operational, financial, and quality performance while driving continued growth, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
Reporting to the Vice President of Ambulatory Services, the Director will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all Endoscopy Services both within the hospital and outpatient settings., ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and management of Endoscopy Services, including clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
Coordinates resources and staffing across the outpatient facility and hospital-based department.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
Lead recruitment, retention, staff development, and succession planning initiatives.
Develop and monitor departmental goals, performance metrics, and operational outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize service delivery and patient experience.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and other regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, efficiency, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
Manage department budgets, productivity, capital planning, and resource utilization.
Evaluate opportunities for program growth, new services, technology implementation, and operational enhancements.
Support organizational initiatives and strategic priorities related to ambulatory and procedural services.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor''s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master''s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required within 5 years of hire.
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in Endoscopy, Perioperative Services, Gastroenterology, or Procedural Services.
Demonstrated experience managing complex clinical operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards.
Preferred
Master''s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field on hire.
Director-level leadership experience within an acute care hospital.
Certification in Gastroenterology Nursing, Ambulatory Care, Perioperative Nursing, or Nursing Leadership.
Experience leading department expansion, workflow redesign, and program growth initiatives.

Pay Range:
$155,000.00 USD - $211,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
