This unique opportunity is a 100% FTE position scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, day shift hours, however some off hours or weekends may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will primarily work at East Madison Hospital located in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our amazing surgical services team at East Madison Hospital as a Nurse Education Specialist or a RN-Education Specialist to:

Qualifications

RN-Nursing Educator:
Bachelor of Science - Nursing degree (BSN) Required
Must obtain Master's degree in Nursing in relevant specialty within five (5) years of start date in this position Required
Nursing Education Specialist:
Master''s Degree in Nursing Required
Master''s Degree in Nursing Education Preferred
Work Experience
RN-Nursing Educator:
Three (3) years of relevant nursing experience Required
Previous experience as a nursing educator Preferred
Five (5) years of relevant nursing experience Preferred
Experience in an academic medical center Preferred
Nursing Education Specialist:
3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience with position specific patient population Preferred
3 years of experience providing orientation and education for nursing staff in clinical setting Preferred
