Responsibilities of a Nursing Educator:
• Facilitate and effectively deliver nursing curriculum in the classroom and/or clinical sites. • Supervise students and demonstrate hands-on patient care at nursing clinical sites. • Teach nursing techniques and provide sufficient practice to students to develop skill proficiency. • Evaluate learning outcomes of students and maintain accurate student records. • Prepare students for an exciting career in nursing.
Requirements of a Nursing Educator:
MSN Active RN license in New Jersey 3 years of recent clinical experience Experience in any of the following: • Med-Surg • Mental Health • Long-Term Care nursing • Teaching experience (a plus) Proficient with technology
