Description
The Nursing Manager of the Emergency Department is accountable for the overall leadership, management, operations, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, and financial performance of the Emergency Department. This position provides direct oversight of all nursing and support staff assigned to the Emergency Department and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered emergency care. The manager is fully accountable for ED operations, staffing, quality, patient experience, safety, and departmental performance. Emergency physicians and advanced practice providers do not report to this position but are key collaborative partners.

Minimum Qualifications
BSN requiredMissouri RN LicenseBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 30 days of hire5+ years emergency nursing experience and 3+ years leadership experienceNIMS completion within 90 days of hire
