Job Description
This position is for an adjunct instructor teaching nursing clinical in one or more specialty settings for the Post-Baccalaureate BSN program. Current teaching opportunities in adult medical-surgical and fundamentals are available. Additional openings anticipated in specialty settings, e.g., pediatrics, maternity, mental health, etc.
What Youll Do
• Teaching in clinical specialty settings as qualified. • Opportunities for teaching in the nursing skills and simulation labs are available. • Evaluation of students in clinical and/or laboratory settings, including assignment grading. • Collaboration with a teaching team within the course.

Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in primary specialty is necessary • Clinical experience in an additional nursing specialty is welcome • Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset
Education
• A bachelors degree in nursing is required • Masters degree or higher is preferred • A clinical focus with recent practice in specialty setting is necessary • Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility required
Compensation
We pay $1000 per credit hour for online courses and $1250 per credit hour for in-person or hybrid courses.
