Summary:

Make the Difference by advancing clinical excellence through education, professional development, and evidence-based practice. The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner assesses learning needs, develops and implements educational activities, supports onboarding and competency development, and partners with clinical teams to enhance professional growth and quality patient outcomes in accordance with the ANPD Scope and Standards of Practice.

Your Role within the team:

• Assess learning needs and lead evidence-based educational initiatives.
• Support onboarding, competency development, and professional growth for clinical Team Members.
• Serve as a trusted educator, consultant, and resource for evidence-based practice.
• Partner with leaders and interdisciplinary teams to advance quality outcomes and practice excellence.
• Champion continuous learning and practice improvement as a change agent.
• Practice in accordance with the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Scope and Standards of Practice.

Current Opportunities:

We are currently seeking Nursing Professional Development Practitioners and Clinical Educators for the following specialty areas:

• Critical Care (ICU) - BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, Mease Dunedin Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital, and St. Joseph's South Hospital
• Emergency Services - BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
• Women's Services - South Florida Baptist Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital South
• Rehabilitation Services - Morton Plant Rehabilitation Hospital

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
• Minimum three (3) years of RN experience in an acute care setting
• Clinical experience aligned with the specialty area of interest
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
