Position: Nursing Project Manager (RN)

Dept: Shared Governance

Location: System Support

Shift: 8am-5pm

The Nursing Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating nursing-related projects that enhance patient care, improve workflow efficiency, and support clinical excellence. This role works closely with nursing leadership, clinical teams, quality improvement departments, and hospital administration to implement strategic initiatives and ensure they align with hospital goals and regulatory standards

Education:

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing-Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Active Registered Nurse Ohio licensure required

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job-related experience

Prior job title or occupational experience: Clinical nurse

Prior specific functional responsibilities: Project management

Preferred experience: Nurse manager role, Project management, and change management

Other experience requirements: Familiarity with hospital operations, electronic health records, and healthcare technology

Knowledge/Skills:

Strong organizational skills, leadership, and communication skills

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

Change management training/skills
