About the Role:

The Quality Partner provides direct operational support to clinical units by translating quality data into actionable strategies, facilitating improvement initiatives, and coaching teams to close performance gaps. This position supports multiple units and service lines, ensuring consistent engagement, sustained momentum, and continued progress toward key quality benchmarks and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and staff to evaluate the quality of clinical care and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and action planning to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence of system issues.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze quality indicators and other data to identify clinical risk management opportunities.
  • Translate data into practical, unit-level improvement strategies that support timely action and accountability.
  • Coach and support frontline teams in closing performance gaps and sustaining quality improvements.
  • Initiate and facilitate changes that reduce institutional risk, support regulatory compliance, and improve patient care outcomes.
  • Support multiple units or service lines to ensure consistent quality engagement and progress toward organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education: BSN or graduation from an accredited Nursing program with a Bachelors degree in a related field. Masters degree in related field preferred.

Experience: 5 years work experience as an RN.

License/Certification(s): RN license in Iowa. Certification in Heatlhcare Quality or Healthcare Risk Management preferred.
