The Nursing Quality Specialist serves as a subject matter expert regarding nursing quality indicators and outcomes of care. The subject matters include fall prevention, pressure injury prevention as well as CAUTI and CLABSI prevention. The Nursing Quality Specialist provides consultative services focused on providing the highest quality and safest care to patients while decreasing risk to the patient. Scope of work includes acute care hospital, ambulatory clinics, branch clinic locations, ambulatory surgery center, and fully owned facilities. Scope may include affiliated regional facilities based upon the needs of the organization and the availability of Nursing Quality.
