The Nursing Resource Coordinator is responsible for providing technical and project support to Nursing, related to clinical applications, workflow process, and organizational operations at Palisades Medical Center (PMC). This position has basic knowledge of the functions and applications of clinical information systems, assists with planning, teaching and training efforts, and works on data related projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Effective trend analysis of performance data with comparison over time to internal and external
benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities, and progress.
2. Direct patient and team member safety by identification of actual or potential safety issues.
3. Interprets, modifies, analyzes and designs clinical information systems, data and information with
supervision.
4. Interprets applications, tools, processes and structures that assist clinicians with the management of
data in patient care and the provision of health care.
5. Provides system support including hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance of
software.
6. Participates in planning and teaching customer training sessions.
7. Presents oral and written communications to project teams and other departments; create and present
reports to the leadership team, and key stakeholders.
8. Completes moderately complex tasks and portions of larger clinical systems projects with direction.
9. Updates system, operational and department documentation.
10. Recommends areas for process improvements.
11. Provides on-call support for clinical applications.
12. Research issues, gather and analyze data.
13. Collaborate with the leadership team to identify opportunities such as new initiatives, relationships,
program development, and operational efficiency.
14. Work with the HMH Network on data projects as a thought partner and assist with research related to
campus-wide projects.
15. Initiates and conducts quality assurance and improvement process on all activities.
16. Advance & enhance professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and
professional networking opportunities to maintain and extend expertise.

17. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
18. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of relevant experience. .
2. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
3. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
platforms.


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Prior experience with clinical applications.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
