About the Position
Job Summary:
The Nursing Station Tech (NST) serves the hospital patient population by providing constant overview of patient care area and monitoring of activity throughout the unit. Customer service, patient family support, and safety are primary responsibilities of this position. This position also includes clerical functions and specific patient care duties to facilitate efficient and comprehensive services. The House Supervisor/Nurse Director may re-assign to other units based on changes of volumes and acuity.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Graduate of a Nursing Aide program. Certification and current listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry preferred.
BLS Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire and maintains certification.
Experience in an ambulatory or inpatient health care setting with ability to multi-task and manage multiple patient/family/nursing/physician priorities within short time frames preferred.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to and follow Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital Mission, Values, Vision and policies.
Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
