Home Healthcare Caregiver (Nursing Student / PA Student)

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Nursing or PA student to join our team as a Home Healthcare Caregiver. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while providing high-quality, personalized care to clients in the comfort of their homes.

As a valued member of our team, you will support clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and contribute to a safe, comfortable environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-centered, and thrives in a collaborative care setting.


Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
  • Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with client dietary needs and preferences
  • Offer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team promptly
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • Completion of at least one clinical rotation preferred
  • Must be a certified Home Health Aide (or willing to go through the BNCC Home Health Aide training prior to working)
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic home care environment
  • Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-first approach
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
