Nursing Subject Matter Expert (Nursing SME)

Position Summary: The Nursing SME will provide clinical nursing expertise supporting national oversight of the Job Corps Health and Wellness Program. The SME will review healthcare operations, assess nursing services, evaluate medical records, participate in centre assessments, provide technical assistance, and support quality improvement initiatives across Job Corps centres.

Primary Responsibilities

·       Review nursing operations.

·       Evaluate healthcare delivery.

·       Conduct medical record reviews.

·       Participate in centre assessments.

·       Review corrective action plans.

·       Support quality improvement initiatives.

·       Provide nursing consultation.

·       Deliver technical assistance.

·       Prepare assessment reports.

·       Support healthcare policy implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

·       Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

·       Minimum 5 years monitoring healthcare delivery operations.

·       Experience reviewing medical records.

·       Experience with healthcare quality assessments.

·       Knowledge of adolescent health and wellness.

·       Strong written communication skills.

·       Crisis intervention experience.

·       Computer proficiency.
