About the opportunity:
This position works collaboratively with the patient care leadership team, hospital medical providers, unit leaders and staff, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure hospital operations run according to policy and regulations and align with Vail Health's mission, vision, and values. Responsibilities include being a resource for staff; monitoring for and driving compliance to standards; managing hospital resources in a manner that maintains stewardship and safety; participating and providing leadership in emergent situations; escalating issues as needed to department or executive leadership; ensuring safe, compliant, and coordinated transfer of all patients in or out of the facility; completing necessary follow-up and documentation for all hospital deaths; facilitating the right care at the right time in the right location through timely throughput; and promoting customer service and patient satisfaction. The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate with team members, and maintain professionalism are key qualities for success in this role.
This is a PRN or as needed, night shift position. Eligible for 16% PRN Differential.
